Friday’s dual meet between Turkey Valley and Tripoli turned into a triangular after Thursday’s dual between the Trojans and South Winn was rained out.
The teams converged on Jackson Heights against brutal northwest winds gusting 30-40 mph and temperatures hovering around 40 degrees.
“The kids from ALL three schools showed grit and determination with wind chill temperatures in the upper 20’s and low 30’s at times,” said TV coach John Reicks. “They fashioned some pretty impressive scores despite the weather conditions.”
