By Becky Walz,

Twin wins for the Decorah girls and boys bowling teams Thursday night sealed the North Central Bowling Conference title for the Lady Vikes, who remain undefeated at 9-0. It marks the third league title in a row for the girls.
The Decorah girls out-bowled Waverly-Shell Rock 2,750 to 2,240 at Maple Lanes in Waterloo with baker games of 214, 174, 204, 165 and 187.
“The girls were ready to bowl and did well against an extremely good team in Waverly-Shell Rock on their home lanes,” said coach Keith Bruening. “I was happy with all the girls tonight and how they picked up spares to win the conference three year in a row.”
Karlie Einck paced the way with a 410 (209, 201) followed closely by Marri Feuerhelm’s 392 (159, 233) and Rylee Averhoff’s 352 (183, 169). Asmere Jensen (174, 140), Jasera Tweten (170, 167) and Addison Wicklund (154, 161) also competed on the varsity lanes.
