Kegler duo honored

Decorah high school juniors Cain Monreal-Rice and Karlie Einck have been named to the IGCA and Iowa High School Bowling Coaches Association’s All-District and All-State teams.
Monreal-Rice, who was a member of the Class 2A state runner-up team finished the 2024-25 season with Decorah’s highest game (279) and highest series (502), averaging 219.44 per game for the Vikes, earning first team all-district in the east division and a second team all-state nod.
Einck, received first team honors in both the east district and all state after finishing fourth in the Class 2A individual bowling tournament and helping the Vikings to a third place team finish at state. She averaged 195.50 pins per game with a high game of 237 and a 426 high series for the season.
