The South Winn girls’ basketball team (5-10, 4-7 UIC) picked up a confidence boosting win Friday, taking care of West Central (1-13, 0-11 UIC) at home, 51-14.
The Warriors put up 20 points in both of the first two quarters to lead 20-9 at halftime.
“We did a nice job sharing the basketball and we were able to put ourselves in a good position to get easy shots. Our defensive energy was phenomenal again. We had 25 steals on the defensive end and helped get ourselves in an easy position to score,” said Coach Justin Izer.
