RICHARD PHILLIPS, 92, of Fort Atkinson, passed away Monday, Oct. 15, 2018, at Wellington Place in Decorah. Mass of Christian Burial is 10:30 a.m., Saturday, Oct. 20, at the St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church in Spillville, with Father Aaron Junge presiding. Burial is in the church cemetery. Visitation is after 9:30 a.m., at the St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church in Spillville Saturday morning. The Schluter Balik Funeral Home is handling arrangements. Richard is survived by his daughters, Catherine (Steven) Brandt, Redwood Falls, Minn. and Darlene (Loren) Straube, Spillville; sons: Thomas Phillips, Cresco; Richard (Rose) Phillips, Jackson Junction; Vincent Phillips, Cresco; and Lawrence (Christy) Phillips, Dunkerton; grandchildren: David (Jessica) Phillips, Eric (Alena Bock) Phillips, Maria (Stephen) Kingsbury, Christina (Stewart) Otting, Tom Straube, Kurt (Kari) Straube, Matt (Abby) Straube, Cathy (Jeff Kimber) Straube and Amanda Phillips; great-grandchildren: Nicholas, Brinlee and Alexis Phillips, June Kingsbury, Graham Otting, Connor and Carson Straube, Gracelyn and Griffin Straube, Kiah and Gavin Kimber.
