Linda Bergan Collins

Linda Louise Collins, age 75, of Burnsville, Minn., formerly of Decorah, passed away unexpectedly on Jan. 7, 2024.

She was preceded in death by her parents Orval and Adeline (Haugen) Bergan and her siblings Duane (Cheryl) Bergan, Diane (Norvin) Anderson, and Donna Gavle.

She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Stuart; daughters: Nicole (Chris) Thompson and Lisa (Corey) Han; grandchildren: Morgan, Cameron, Caitlyn, and Jenna; siblings: Daryl (Donna) Bergan and Elaine (Jerry) Gipp; also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, and supportive friends.

Linda will be missed by many as she was very passionate about her family, friends, and faith.  Her love for Stuart will live on forever and she adored her grandchildren, never missing an opportunity to see them. She was an adoring sports fan, especially Minnesota Vikings football.  She never missed a game and always cheered and clapped for them with passion. She loved all sports and would not turn down an opportunity to talk game, her favorites also included the Twins and the Timberwolves.  She was a collector of all things; including cherished friends and family.

Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 16, at Linda’s longtime church: Woodlake Lutheran Church, 2120 W 76th St., Richfield, MN.  Visitation is one hour prior to the service at Woodlake Church. Burial will be at the Acacia Park Cemetery in Minneapolis.
