Kyle Dean Oyloe

Kyle Dean Oyloe, 46, of Cedar Rapids, passed away Friday, Oct. 23, 2015, at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City. Visitation is from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 27, at Murdoch Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Marion. A memorial service is at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 28, at Bethany Lutheran Church, located at 29746 Iris Road in Ossian. Burial is in West Union Cemetery, West Union.

Kyle was born Aug. 21, 1969, in Cedar Rapids, to Carmen and Linda (Stee) Oyloe. After graduating from Urbana High School he attended Kirkwood Community College. Kyle was previously employed with U.S. Cellular in their tech support department. He was a local musician. He was currently in the Julie and Kyles’ acoustic duo and was a member of Julie and The Mad Dogs. He was a former member of the Meerkats. Kyle loved playing his guitar and spending time with his friends.

Survivors include his parents, Carmen and Linda Oyloe; brother, Ryan Oyloe (Becky Dewing); best friend, Julie Gordon; several uncles, aunts and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Orvel and Stella Oyloe; Morton and Maythel Stee.
