Jane Ann Kimber, 66 of Postville, passed away Saturday, Dec. 16, 2023 at Gundersen Health Systems in La Crosse, Wis.
She was born Oct. 15, 1957 to Calvin and Marjorie (Kugel) Winter in Postville, Iowa. Jane graduated from Postville High School in 1976.
Jane was married to Loren Kimber, and four daughters were born to this union. They later divorced. Jane worked at Northern Engraving after graduating high school until it closed and then went to work for Agri Processors, where she worked for the past 14 years. She enjoyed walking, crocheting, watching horror movies with her grandchildren and watching Days of Our Lives. Jane collected jewelry, knickknacks and porcelain dolls. She was always with her twin sister, Joan.
Surviving Jane are her daughters, Marie Kimber of Postville, Kristy Kimber of Oelwein, Valarie Kimber (Dustin Keene) of Las Vegas, Nev., and Lori (Matthew Norte) Kimber of Castalia; 15 grandchildren, Angel Flack, Dakotah Flack, Allison Flack, Dawson Flack, Aleah Howes, Hailey Howes (fiancé, Dalton Burroughs), Melody Kimber, Marcus Keene, Damien Keene, Evelyn Keene, Maya Keene, Serenity Florek, Sabastion Florek, Jacob Florek and Bryce Norte; brothers, Marline (Pam) Winter of Arkansas and Terry (Karen) Winter of Postville; sisters, Mary Kay (Keith) Burger of McGregor, Joan Seegmiller of Postville, and Vicki (Tom) Miller of Luana, and many nieces and nephews.
Jane was preceded in death by her parents, Calvin and Marjorie Winter and a nephew, Brian Seegmiller.
A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 22, 2023 at Schutte-Grau Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Postville.
