Winneshiek Medical Center is planning to expand its Decorah facility with the installation of two separate additions and a redevelopment. The two additions will be 11,850 square feet and 3,710 square feet, and will include associated parking, utilities and landscaping. The redevelopment will include rerouting of stormwater to a new storm sewer system and will also increase on-site impervious coverage – driveways, roads, parking lots, sidewalks and the like – by 8,820 square feet.
At its meeting Tuesday, Jan. 17, the Decorah City Council unanimously approved the site plan, with one contingency that a routine maintenance and inspection form be submitted to the city by the design firm.
