Winneshiek Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant at a residence on Short Street in Ridgeway Nov. 9, at 12:49 p.m. As a result of the search warrant, two subjects were located, arrested and booked into the Winneshiek County Jail. Adam Strand, 39, of Decorah was charged with D felony failure to affix drug stamp, serious misdemeanor possession of controlled substance (methamphetamine) and serious misdemeanor possession of controlled substance 2nd offense (cannabidiol). Heather Schultz, age 51, of Ridgeway, was charged with D felony failure to affix drug stamp and serious misdemeanor possession of controlled substance (methamphetamine). This case remains under investigation, with additional arrests and charges pending.
Winneshiek Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a single vehicle accident on County Road V64 near Jackson Junction Nov. 11 at 2:06 a.m. The driver, Abby Schoba, age 20, of New Hampton, was, arrested and booked into the Winneshiek County Jail for operating while under the influence, second offense. Schoba also was cited for failure to maintain control and person under 21 using tobacco/vapor product.
Leon Trappe, age 55, of Monona, was arrested and transported from the Fayette County Jail and booked into the Winneshiek County Jail Nov. 9 on an arrest warrant for violation of probation.
Dakota Knight, 31, of Hiawatha, was arrested and booked into the Winneshiek County Jail from the Linn County Jail Nov. 15, at 8:40 p.m., on an arrest warrant for burglary, 3rd degree – vehicle, 1st offense, six counts.
Tanner Heins, 30, of Ossian, was arrested and booked into the Winneshiek County Jail Nov. 14 on an arrest warrant for two counts of B felony sex exploitation of a minor – cause to engage in act; three counts of serious misdemeanor disseminate and exhibition of obscene material to minor.
