Welcome Spring event at Driftless Wetlands Centre April 8

The Driftless Area Wetlands Centre will host the annual Welcome Spring event from 10 a.m. to noon on Saturday, April 8.

Enjoy a walk around the wetland as a family and search for signs of Spring with a scavenger hunt. Eggs will be hidden along the trail for younger kids to hunt and there will be a variety of hands-on nature activities. There is no set start time for the egg hunt, just arrive any time between 10 and noon.

This event is sponsored by Friends of the Marquette Driftless Area and Pat’s Electric. The Driftless Area Wetlands Centre is located at 509 Hwy 18 in Marquette, Iowa, 0.5 mile west of the Marquette-Joliet Bridge on Hwy 18.
