The Turkey Valley High School Drama Department is set to present, “The Brothers Grimm Spectaculathon” this weekend. The fairy tales of the Brothers Grimm are turned on their heads in what organizers called a fast-paced, rollicking ride as two narrators and several actors attempt to combine all 209 stories — ranging from classics like “Snow White,” “Cinderella” and “Hansel and Gretel” — to more bizarre, obscure stories like — “The Devil’s Grandmother” and “The Girl Without Hands.”
Performances will take place at 7 p.m. March 28 and 29 in the multipurpose room of Turkey Valley High School. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m., and tickets will be available at the door for $6 — children of pre-kindergarten age and younger will be admitted at no cost.
