The BossLady series accomplished more than inspiring its attendees, it also helped raise a total of $2,200 in funds for the Domestic Abuse Resource Center (DARC) in Decorah.
The BossLady Series initiative sought to connect and support local women in the pursuit of business and personal goals, financial health, and physical and mental wellness through inspiration, idea-sharing, networking, and education. Staff presented the check to the DARC staff Monday, April 11, at Toppling Goliath in Decorah.
The funds were raised through the first-ever March BossLady Series and freewill donations from Market 52 and Tiffany & Weller. The Domestic Abuse Resource Center is facilitated by Helping Services for Youth & Families in providing services to the region.
