The curling must go on!

Event coordinators have announced that the annual Busch Light curling is still happening, despite warmer temperatures, Feb. 17, in Lansing.

The event, in its second year, is a contest in which participants use 12-packs of Busch Light beer to “curl” on the Mississippi River just like the curling sport in the winter Olympics. Check in for the event will be held from 10:30 a.m. to 11 a.m., Saturday morning, at the Lansing marina. The contest will begin at 11:30 a.m.

Up to three people can be on a team, and there is a charge for each team to participate.

Following the tournament, live music will be available at TJ Hunter’s City Lounge at 377 Main St, Lansing. For information, see the event’s page on Facebook or call 563-568-8895.
