Situational awareness minimizes risk of becoming a crime victim

In recent weeks, numerous posts and pictures have circulated through social media regarding vehicles being “tagged,” denoting the vehicle operator as vulnerable or a potential target. Decorah Police Chief Dave Smutzler assures readers that nothing of this sort has transpired in the area.
