Roundtable set Jan. 21 on proposed vouchers

A roundtable discussion regarding Iowa Governor Kim Reynolds’ proposed School Choice/Educational Savings Accounts Bill is being held Saturday, Jan. 21. 

A roundtable discussion regarding Iowa Governor Kim Reynolds’ proposed School Choice/Educational Savings Accounts Bill is being held Saturday, Jan. 21.

According to a Facebook post from the Winneshiek County Republicans, the event is to be hosted at 208 West Water Street in downtown Decorah.  Local Senator Michael Klimesh and Representative Michael Bergan will be in attendance to discuss their positions and answer questions. 

The issue is gaining much debate, as the bill could be voted on in the near future in Iowa.
