Winneshiek Sheriff
Heather Quandahl, 38, of Decorah, turned herself into the Winneshiek County Jail May 13 on an arrest warrant for child endangerment, physical abuse.
Brady Hixson, 36, of Cresco, was arrested in Middle Ossian Road May 12 at 7:13 p.m., and booked into the Winneshiek County Jail for trespassing (1st offense).
A search warrant was executed at a resident at 113th Ave., near Dorchester on May 12, after an ongoing investigation by the Winneshiek County Sheriff’s Office. As a result, Duane Gulbro, 55, of Dorchester, was arrested and transported to the Winneshiek County Jail. Gulbro was charged with two counts of D felony possession of controlled substance, 3rd or subsequent (methamphetamine and marijuana), aggravated misdemeanor obstructing prosecution, and simple misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia.
Miola Gossman, 49, of Cresco, was arrested in Howard County May 11, transported to the Winneshiek County Jail and booked on an arrest warrant for violation of probation.
Michael Koch, 39, of Cresco, was arrested in Howard County and booked into the Winneshiek County Jail May 10 on an arrest warrant for harassment 2nd degree.
Winneshiek County Sheriff’s Office received a call of an accident May 3 on Centennial Road. A vehicle driven by Rachael Tieskoetter, 39, of Ossian, and a vehicle driven by Luke Frederick, 21, of Castalia, were traveling in the northbound lane of Centennial Road. Both vehicles had slowed speed. Frederick’s vehicle was on the right side of the lane, and Tieskoetter began to overtake the other vehicle in the left lane. Frederick reportedly made a lefthand turn into a driveway without signaling his intensions. The vehicles collided at approximately 20 to 25 miles per hour. Both vehicles entered the driveway and exchanged insurance information. No injuries were reported. Frederick was cited for making an unsafe turn of failing to give signal.
Three search warrants were executed in the Freeport area on May 18 at 3:53 p.m., as part of an ongoing investigation by the Winneshiek County Sheriff’s Office. As a result, Jesse Seelinger, 46, of Decorah was arrested and transported to the Winneshiek County Jail. Seelinger was charged with aggravated misdemeanor possession of controlled substance (Methamphetamine) 2nd offense and simple misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia. The Winneshiek County attorney’s Office, Decorah Police and Iowa State Patrol assisted the Sheriff’s Office with execution of the search warrants. This is an ongoing investigation, with additional arrests and charges pending.
