Pulpit Rock Brewing Company announces the 6th annual “Pulpit to Pulpit” fundraiser, benefiting two local non-profits: Helping Services for Youth and Families and Toys Go `Round Toy Lending Library.
The event will be held on Tuesday, July 4, and will feature a timed 5K race and an untimed one-mile fun run/walk. Both races are family and dog friendly and will start and end at Pulpit Rock Brewing Co.
Registered participants will receive a commemorative Pulpit to Pulpit 2024 T-shirt (while supplies last). The event will once again feature Josey Jewell as the official race starter, the Decorah-based brass quintet, Touch of Brass, performing patriotic music and other American music favorites, the Rotary Club providing ice cream, and the Lions Club providing popcorn immediately following the race. Prizes will be awarded for the fastest times in the men’s, women’s, and youth (12 and under) categories, along with raffle prizes for participants (must be present to win).
The entry fee is $30 for adults and $15 for children aged 12 and under. Participants can pick up their T-shirts and race bibs at Pulpit Rock Brewing Co. from 5 to 8 p.m. on Monday, July 3, or starting at 7 a.m. on Tuesday, July 4.
