Murder charges filed in case of missing Decorah man

Aaron Gary Whittle, age 43 of Decorah, was arrested and charged with 1st degree murder for the death of Lawrence Paul Whittle. Aaron Gary Whittle appeared before Magistrate Nathan Moonen on Monday and was held on a $1 million cash bond. Whittle will remain incarcerated in the Winneshiek County Jail.
