Luther hosts program on crater discovery

A program about the recent discovery that Luther College and the City of Decorah are positioned above a buried impact crater from a meteorite strike 470 million years ago will be held April 20 on the Luther campus. 

$50,000 grant awarded to NE Iowa RC&D

The Northeast Iowa Resource Convervation and Development (RC&D) has received a $50,000 grant from the National Trust for Historic Preservation’s Telling the Full History Preservation Fund. The announcement was made at anews conference April 7.
