Walmart Community Mural Program is a celebration of communities across America and an important part of a new or newly-transformed facility. Inspired by the community and together with every store manager, each mural reflects the local diversity and cultural references. The artist who created the Decorah Walmart Mural is Andrew Houser of Bozeman, Mont., who worked with local references provided by store manager, Luke Wilkins. The mural can be found above the store’s grocery entrance showcasing many local landmarks, the community’s Norwegian heritage and natural attractions.
