Driftless area law enforcement agencies are conducting a mass search for a missing Minnesota woman.

The Winona County Sheriff’s Office, Winona Police Department and the Fillmore County Sheriff’s Office have organized the search for Madeline Kingsbury on Friday, April 7, 2023.

Kingsbury, age 26, has been missing since the morning of Friday, March 31, when she was last seen at her home in Winona.

Officials are looking for individuals over 18 years of age to walk areas that are rough terrain and long distances. The request is for volunteers to aid in the search for about four hours. Authorities said they need to have individuals that are able to meet these requirements and that can wear appropriate clothing and footwear. Anyone willing to volunteer was asked to gather at locations in Winona at the Winona County-Goodview Fire Department; and in Rushford at the Fillmore County Rushford-Peterson School. Volunteers can report at either 9 a.m. or 1 p.m., and will be assigned a search area. Volunteers also must bring a drive’s license or other form of identification to be checked in and out for security and accountability.
