Learn cybersecurity basics at library program Jan. 15

Decorah Public Library invites community members to build cybersecurity skills at a free presentation titled “Cybersecurity Basics” Wednesday, Jan. 15, at 11 a.m. in the library’s lower level meeting room.

The event is open to all wishing to better protect themselves in the digital world.

Presented by staff at the library, the session for those looking to:

  • Identify security and safe websites.
  • Create strong, memorable passwords.
  • Recognize scams before it’s too late.

The presentation is designed to be both fun and information, with opportunities for participants to put new skills to the test.
