Historian and genealogist Midge Kjome will present a program on the life of Arne Fjellbu at 2:30 pm, March 25, at Decorah’s VFW post, 104 State Street in Decorah.

The program is free and open to the public. Fjellbu is best remembered for the role he played in the Norwegian Lutheran Church’s resistance to the German occupation of Norway, 1940-1945, but event organizers said there is so much more to his story.

The presentation will take place after the Decorah Genealogy Association’s annual meeting at the VFW, which will begin at 2 p.m.
