Decorah Chorale auditions Jan. 19

Auditions for the Decorah Chorale, an adult mixed chorus with members from throughout the Driftless region, will be held Jan. 15.

The Decorah Chorale, an adult mixed chorus with members from Northeast Iowa and Southeast Minn., is holding auditions for new singers interested in joining for the spring term.

Auditions will be held on Sunday, Jan. 15 between 6-8 p.m. in the Decorah High School Choir Room on a first-come, first-serve basis.

The short audition will assess vocal and musical skills – no prepared piece is necessary. Auditions will be held with the Chorale’s artistic director, Jason Rausch. Those auditioning should enter the high school from the west parking lot, door 29. Email decorahchoraledirector@gmail.com with any questions or to arrange a different audition time.The first rehearsal for the spring term will be Sunday, Jan. 22.
