Chamber Ag Drive-Thru at Fairgrounds May 7

Drive Thru for an easy supper on May 7 at the Winneshiek County Fairgrounds.

Choose either a steak sandwich or a cheeseburger from the Winneshiek County Cattlemen and pick from three shake flavors (chocolate, vanilla, strawberry) from the Winneshiek Dairy Promoters Moo Mobile. Serving hours are from 4 to 7 p.m. Enter the fairgrounds at the east end of Water Street. This Drive Thru meal supports the Chamber‘s Winneshiek County Ag Scholarships (high school graduates that are going to pursue a college major in an agricultural field) and the Herdsmanship Awards (recognizing animal care and cleanliness outside of the Show Ring) at the Winneshiek County Fair.

The menu features:
$13 Steak Sandwich + Shake (Vanilla, Chocolate, or Strawberry)
$11 Cheeseburger + Shake (Vanilla, Chocolate, or Strawberry)

Organizers said this event is made possible by support from Chamber Ag Meal Sponsors (Kelly Real Estate), 2023 Chamber Ag Partners (Anderson Law Office, WinnMed, Viking State Bank, and Farm Credit Services), and the 2023 Chamber Lead Sponsor (Decorah Bank & Trust). Working this event are the Decorah Area Chamber staff and Ag Committee members. The  Ag Committee members actively work to celebrate and support the agriculture business sector. This committee leads Ag Appreciation, Winneshiek County Fair Herdsmanship, Stay Safe Take a Break Harvest Event, Ag. Scholarship Program, and professional development opportunities for farmers and Ag Businesses.
