Chamber Ag Drive Thru Meal set for June 15

The public is invited to drive thru for an easy supper on June 15 at the Winneshiek County Fairgrounds.

Choose either a steak sandwich or a cheeseburger from the Winneshiek County Cattlemen and pick from three shake flavors (chocolate, vanilla, strawberry) at the Winneshiek Dairy Promoters Moo Mobile. Serving is from 4 to 7 p.m. Enter the fairgrounds at the east end of Water Street. Event organizers said this drive thru meal supports the Chamber’s Winneshiek County Ag Scholarships (high school graduates that are going to pursue a college major in an agricultural field) and the Herdsmanship Awards (recognizing animal care and cleanliness outside of the Show Ring) at the Winneshiek County Fair.

Cost is $12 for Steak Sandwich + Shake (Vanilla, Chocolate, or Strawberry); or $10 for Cheeseburger + Shake (Vanilla, Chocolate, or Strawberry)

This committee leads Ag Appreciation, Winneshiek County Fair Herdsmanship, Stay Safe Take a Break Harvest Event, Ag Scholarship Program, and professional development opportunities for farmers and Ag Businesses.
