Betterment Assoc. hosts ‘parklet project’ meeting Jan. 11

Downtown business owners and/or property owners within Decorah’s C-3 Central Business Commercial District are invited to an informational meeting regarding a 2024 parklet project aimed at improving safety and enhancing the downtown aesthetic.
The meeting will be held on Jan. 11, 2024 from 8 to 9 a.m. at the Decorah Bank and Trust Educational Room (202 E Water St, entrance on the north side of the annex building)
Organizers said the informational meeting will be led by members of Downtown Decorah Betterment Association (DDBA) and will provide general information onwhat a parklet is, partner roles and involvement, current parklet policy, and what project implementation might look like.
