BAM Bike tour headed to Minnesota’s Driftless area

BAM has had around 300 bicyclists and support crew members attending rides in the past. 

The Bicycling Around Minnesota (BAM) group recently announced plans for its 2023 ride, and riders are headed to Minnesota’s beautiful Driftless area Aug. 17-20. Riders will start and finish in Lanesboro, with overnights in Rushford on Aug. 17, La Crescent Aug. 18 and Houston Aug. 19 before returning to Lanesboro.
BAM has had around 300 bicyclists and support crew members attending rides in the past. They have brought a few mobile cabins and a mobile shower truck. 
The first leg of the route to Rushford encompasses biking 63 miles with 2,700 feet of “climb.” 
Day two from Rushford to La Crescent has two options: 60 miles, with 2,400 feet of climb or 46 miles with 1,800 feet of climb. 
Day three from La Crescent to Houston is 58 miles with 2,700 feet of climb. 
Returning to Lanesboro from Houston is 54 miles with 2,800 feet of climb. For more information visit bambiketour.org.
