100+ Women Who Care meeting March 6

The next meeting of 100+ Women Who Care area chapter will be at The Landing Market in Decorah Monday, March 6.

The local chapter of 100+ Women Who Care will meet Monday, March 6, at The Landing Market in Decorah.

Registration is at 5:30 p.m., and the meeting will run from 6 to 7 p.m.

Organizers said, “Stop in for a beverage and learn about some amazing local charities doing great work right here in our community. Do you have a favorite charity you would like to nominate to receive our donation?  Submit it at the Registration Table.”

Three nominations will be drawn from those submissions. If a charity is drawn at the registration table, the person submitting the charity is invited to give a two-minute pitch from the heart to tell the gorup why that nonprofit deserves to be choosen.

“Tell us what their mission is, who they serve, and what the funds will be used for,” said organizers.

The group will vote and the winning nonprofit will receive the donation and become eligible for an addition 50% match through the Richard M. Shulze Family Foundation.
