Running Water

Tuesday, October 25, 2022 4:33 pm

Finally home, Maggie wrestled the front door open impatiently, called for her brother Greg, but there was no answer. She descended the step into the hall, and planting her foot on the carpet, she felt it squish beneath her.

As It Inches Closer

Tuesday, October 25, 2022 4:23 pm

What lives in the Driftless?

Friday, October 21, 2022 6:49 pm

It was October 30, 2054, when some kids who were fishing in Twin Springs brought back an old, battered diary. It belonged to Annie Hudson, Monster Hunter. What follows are the partial entries that weren’t torn out:

He also couldn’t remember what he had done that morning, but that didn’t matter. Edgar had retired eight months earlier and nowadays things like what he had done or what needed to be done didn’t matter as much.
